The Combine & Official Draft Party
Discover how middle school athletes from 6th to 8th grade showcase their speed, agility, and power in Lynchburg, Virginia. From laser-timed performance drills to the excitement of team selection night, get ready for an unforgettable football experience with VA All Stars.
Showcase your athletic skills at the combine
Every athlete gets the opportunity to record verified testing stats in front of scouts and coaching staffs. The combine tests key athletic measurements through four core events: the 40-yard dash, vertical jump, 20-yard shuttle, and bench press. Athletes should arrive prepared in their cleats and practice gear to put their absolute best performance on the board.
Live draft party and roster selections
Once the testing numbers are tallied, the coaches convene at the draft party to review results and build their rosters. In an exciting live draft experience, each team selects the top 30 players tailored to fit their offensive and defensive schemes. Parents and athletes can celebrate the moment their name is called to join their official squad.
Next steps: Practice Days and Dame Day
Following the draft party, coaches meet with their newly drafted players to introduce themselves, review game plans, and build team chemistry. Athletes must bring their own helmets, shoulder pads, cleats, and practice uniform for two intensive practice days, culminating on the fourth day in the championship-caliber VA All Stars game.
